Tools and journal
Calculator inputs are processed in your browser and are not intentionally sent to our application server. Journal entries remain in memory unless you choose to save them to browser local storage. Exported files are created on your device. We do not provide journal accounts or cloud sync.
Technical requests and logs
The VPS receives normal web requests. Our access logs record time, a public page category, response status and content type, and flags distinguishing background page-prefetch requests. IP addresses, query strings, referrers, user-agent strings, calculator values and form messages are not included. Older launch logs contained requested paths and technical response sizes and timing until their scheduled expiry. Application error logs may contain technical details, including IP addresses in some failures. Local SanForex logs are rotated daily and retained for up to seven rotations, subject to rotation timing. Avoid placing private information in URLs.
Cloudflare and rate data
Cloudflare proxies this domain and processes connection information under its own service terms and policies. The SanForex server retrieves ECB reference rates centrally; your calculator values are not sent to the ECB. Follow source links only if you wish to visit those sites.
Cookies and advertising
Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-YGH5GD3WDX) is optional and loads only after you choose Allow Analytics. It may set first-party cookies and send device, connection and page-usage information to Google, including your IP address as part of the connection. We do not send calculator values, journal entries or contact-message contents as analytics event parameters. Advertising storage, advertising personalization and Google signals are disabled in our tag configuration. No advertising scripts are enabled. Analytics preferences in the footer let you decline or withdraw consent; withdrawal removes accessible Analytics cookies and reloads the page. Your preference is stored locally for 180 days. Google processes and retains analytics data according to its terms and the property settings; those account settings have not yet been independently audited. Browser storage for journal persistence is separate and optional. Cloudflare may use security-related processing or cookies under its own policies.
Contact messages
Submitting the contact form sends your email, optional name and message to the SanForex VPS for responding to enquiries and handling corrections or privacy requests. Messages are retained for up to 30 days, then removed by a daily cleanup task. Local recovery snapshots may retain deleted messages for up to seven additional days. No automatic marketing or mailing list is created. Technical request information is used transiently to limit form abuse.
Your choices
Disable local saving to remove the saved journal from this browser while retaining current in-memory entries. Clear site data to remove browser storage, or export first to keep a copy. For contact-message enquiries or deletion requests, use the contact form and include the message reference. We may need to verify that a request concerns your information.
